Which ports does fairmeeting require?

Usually, nothing needs to be configured on the router. However, there may be restrictions when connecting from a corporate network or an open Wi-Fi hotspot.

Media streams are transmitted via RTP UDP through ports 31000–31999. If the firewall blocks these, HTTPS TCP 443 will be used as a fallback (with reduced quality and delays, as this then runs via a so-called TURN server).

Your organisation may have routers, firewalls, or a VPN that do not permit media streams to be sent. Please contact your network administrator to allow media streams to and from the following IPs:

  • 167.233.10.205 (Load Balancer)
  • 144.76.116.252 (TURN Server)
  • 138.201.34.50 (TURN Server)
  • 46.4.69.24
  • 167.235.13.30
  • 138.201.194.52
  • 49.12.133.173
  • 195.201.8.161
  • 138.201.254.41
  • 168.119.150.57
  • 78.46.85.17
  • 148.251.134.112
  • 178.63.14.111
  • 178.63.14.54
  • 136.243.67.152
  • 148.251.42.174
  • 213.133.123.176

or, more simply, to allow *.fairmeeting.net on ports 31000-31999/udp and 443/tcp+udp.
