1) Space Settings
After creation, the Space can be further configured. The Space "Settings" can be accessed via the three-dot menu next to the Space name.
2) Space or Chat Details
Clicking Settings opens the chat details, which relate to the Space.
3) Access and Visibility
Under Access and Visibility, you can configure, amongst other things, who is allowed to join the Space.
The following options are available:
- Anyone may join
- Users must knock (request to join)
- Invited members only
4) Invite a Contact
Members can be added to the Space via the three-dot menu > Invite.
Users can be invited by display name, e-mail address, or username (e.g. @nickname:fairchat.eu).
Search for users and confirm with Invite.
