The video stream on fairmeeting.net starts at 480px and 500kBit/s, primarily to save bandwidth for all participants. Other conferencing systems generally do not offer higher video resolution either. Those who absolutely require it can join the room via pro.fairmeeting.net, where 720px is the standard. On request, we can also set up conference rooms with 2K or 4K resolution.
When sharing a screen in Chrome / Edge, the frame rate should not be increased (leave it at 5 fps), as otherwise the resolution may be reduced. Firefox does not do this, and is therefore the preferred browser for the person sharing their screen.
