More Settings
Click on the three dots "More Settings" via the menu.
Select background
Click on "Select background" in the list. A "Backgrounds" window will open.
Add background
Here you can choose whether your own background should be displayed blurred or whether a custom background should be applied.
Clicking "Add background" opens the file manager on the device.
Upload file
In fairmeeting pro, you can also upload your own image.
Navigate to the relevant folder in the file manager and select the desired image. Confirm with "Open".
The selected image will be displayed as the background. Confirm once more with "Apply".
All files
To display a video as a background, you can follow the same steps as described in the instructions for setting a photo as a background. In the file manager, however, make sure that "All files" is selected, otherwise saved videos will not be displayed.
Share screen
To share the screen as a background, the "Backgrounds" window can be opened via the more settings option, as described in the previous instructions. However, you must then click on the share screen icon.
Select screen
A window will automatically open in the browser for selecting the window or screen to be shared. The relevant window or screen can be selected via the drop-down menu. Confirm with "Allow". The selected background will be applied. Confirm once more with "Apply".
This allows, for example, a video being played in another browser window via a video platform to be used as a background.
