The search function in Nextcloud is not a full-text search for data protection reasons; instead, it searches by file names, comments, and tags. It is therefore very helpful to assign tags to files in faircloud so that they can be found again using the search function.
Managing tags
The easiest way to define tags is to assign the desired tag or tags to a file. To do this, first navigate to Manage tags in the file view via the three dots:
Then add or remove the desired tags in the tag list:
This tag is then set for the relevant document and is available to all users of the Nextcloud instance via the tag list.
